The Tuolumne County Public Works Dept has an opening for a Solid Waste Manager. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and managing the Solid Waste Division; to direct and coordinate solid waste management activities; to provide expert professional assistance to County management staff in areas of responsibility; and to perform related work as assigned. BS in planning, public health, environmental science, public administration or a related field desirable. Five years experience in related fields may be substituted for Bachelor’s Degree. Three years of increasingly responsible experience in solid waste management at a level equivalent to the County's Solid Waste Specialist. Must possess a CA Driver's License and have a satisfactory driving record; Must be willing to work out of doors with exposure to heavy traffic and/or construction site hazards during field inspections.
